This was a renovation and addition to a lovely Colonial home in Wellesley, Massachusetts for a repeat client. The home was built in 1931 and I wanted to make sure that I respected the architecture and time period of the home when making all of the new selections. It’s a nod to the old and classic, with modern elements peppered in to keep it fresh, interesting and fun. This project was featured in Architectural Digest soon after we were done. The scalloped bench was all the rage on Pinterest and Instagram and I have to say I’m just as in love with it as everyone else! I love bringing in custom designed pieces for my clients, because I feel they never go out of style. When something is made uniquely for you, with so much love, it only get’s better with age. We worked up a brand new kitchen and layout with all new custom cabinetry a family dining nook, a mudroom, formal (yet fun) dining room and an additional full bath in the newly finished attic space.
