FULL SERVICE DESIGN
Shannon Tate Interiors is a full service design firm working on all aspects of residential interiors. We specialize in creating soothing, eclectic homes, with an ever-evolving, style, influenced by travel, architecture and our clients unique qualities, likes and dislikes.
We work on new-builds, gut renovations, furnishing and decor projects. We work collaboratively with architects and builders and are involved in all aspects of the project from start to finish, from design concepts, to construction drawings, renderings, finish, material and fixture selections, sourcing and custom designing furnishings & decor, ordering, tracking, project management/construction oversight, final installation & styling.
Seeing renovations and new construction through from start to finish is a long and intimate journey between the clients, designer and all the trades involved in bringing the design to life. The right team, excellent communication, and a positive, goal oriented, supportive work flow is essential to success. We work closely with our clients so they feel seen, understood and supported throughout the process.
We will go over all the details of our work flow with you on an inquiry call prior to meeting for an in person consultation.
We typically quote flat fees for Design (which includes a set amount of revision time), charge percentages for procurement/order tracking and charge hourly for project management/construction oversight as well as final installation and styling. Occasionally certain projects are a better fit for an hourly model throughout and both options will be discussed with the clients prior to the project proposal being sent.
We are based in Western Massachusetts & Brooklyn, New York, and welcome project inquiries near & far.
VIRTUAL DESIGN
If you are looking for professional design services, but would prefer to implement and project manage on your own, then our Virtual Design services might be a great fit for you. You will receive the same design services you would as a full service client, but it will differ in that we will only meet virtually, you will be responsible for providing measurements and photos of the spaces you would like to work on and you will take the reigns on implementation of the design plans, and purchasing after the design presentation is complete.

1:1 Video Consultation
If you are a do it yourself-er, are heading your own project, need a second set of eyes and ears on a design related question or dilemma, this might be a good fit for you. 1:1 Video Consultations include 1 hour for Shannon to review links, floorplans and any other information sent prior to starting, and 1 hour of live zoom consultation. Consultations are typically done Monday, Tuesday or Friday between 9am-4pm EST. If another time is required please note in your inquiry form, so we can see if we can accommodate you.
