This renovation was for a lovely repeat client in Brookline, Massachusetts. The team and I had finished their kitchen a few years prior and the bedroom had been on their t0-do list as the next project to tackle. This home was in a condo complex with no real architectural style of its own, so the inside is really free reign to make it whatever your heart desires. For their kitchen, we were inspired by their love of cooking, family time and travels in Europe. So, we continued that feeling of warmth up in the primary suite. We changed the layout entirely, I will have to write a blog post on it soon to show you the before and after. But, we wanted a truly serene vibe in here, an oasis to escape to at the end of the day. We layered in wood accents, natural materials, unique, luxurious textiles, added beams and textured limewash walls. The primary bathroom features white oak, continued limewash, marble and a tub big enough for two! It’s really a heavenly place to be, if I do say so myself.
